Brought up in Shropshire I entered into a banking career which enabled me to work all over the UK and then in Africa.
I married in Zambia and returned to live in London where we started a family, before spending five years in America. On my return to the UK I settled near Ellesmere where I joined a local WI. After serving as Treasurer and President I became a Convener, then a WI Adviser and was invited to join the Federation Board. I later served as County Treasurer, then County Vice Chairman and in 2021 I had the honour of becoming County Chairman.
